About this Course

In today's dynamic business climate, service outages cause real bottom line impact to the business. The ITIL® capability course – Release, Control and Validation (RCV) – provides the best practice process knowledge required to build, test and deploy successful IT services.

This five (5) day course provides in-depth knowledge of the ITIL® RCV areas: Change Management, Release and Deployment Management, Service Validation and Testing, Service Asset and Configuration Management, Request Fulfillment, Service Evaluation and Knowledge Management.

Embedded into the RCV course is our unique series of exercises,Living the Lifecycle®. Woven through all ITSM Academy's ITIL® certification classes, this series brings concepts and processes to life and identifies practical ways to overcome real-world challenges.

Prerequisites:

The ITIL® Foundation Certification in IT Service Management

Exam & Certification:

Successfully passing the 90 minute, exam consisting of eight (8) complex, multi-part, multiple choice scenario-based gradient scored questions leads to the ITIL® Intermediate Qualification: Release, Control and Validation Certificate.

ITIL® Expert:

Earn 4 credits of the 22 required to achieve the ITIL® ExpertCertification.

Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional Development Units (PDUs):

ITSM Academy is recognized by PMI as a Global R.E.P. Project Management Professionals earn 38 contact hours or PDUs upon completion of this course.
