Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop Advanced Concepts – Optimizing the End User Experience (CXD-301) 2 days

In this course students will learn how to optimize an environment to deliver a great user experience. Starting with the user device and Citrix Receiver, the course covers advanced deployment and configuration options to optimize the delivery of their apps and desktops. Students continue with enhancing the StoreFront experience through custom branding and advanced customization options. Finally, course attendees will learn how to optimize the VDA for a better experience including faster logons, HDX graphics tuning, multimedia, and additional configurations for double hop HDX connections.

Citrix XenServer 6 Administration (CXS-203-1l) 5 days

In this 5 day instructor-led Citrix XenServer 6.0 training course, students are provided the foundational knowledge necessary to effectively install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot XenServer 6.0 and Provisioning Services 6.0. Students will have the opportunity to apply that foundational knowledge through the use of hands-on labs. The labs will guide students through configuring and managing a XenServer host, creating and managing Windows virtual machines and the resource pools in which they will be placed, as well as configuring the Distributed Virtual Switch (DVS) and Workload Balancing (WLB). Designing, Deploying, and Managing Enterprise Mobility Solutions with XenMobile (CXM-302) 5 days

This five-day course is recommended for those designing and deploying Citrix XenMobile Enterprise. It covers managing devices, apps and data for customer organizations. This course includes all the components required to design a XenMobile solution, install a standard deployment, troubleshoot common process mistakes, and perform maintenance tasks. This course is offered through select Citrix Authorized Learning Centers (CALCs).

Engineering a Citrix Virtualization Solution (CVE-401) 5 days

The CVE-401-1 Engineering a Citrix Virtualization Solution course provides students with the foundation necessary to effectively plan for and perform the tasks necessary to successfully incorporate a complete Citrix virtualization solution into a Windows Server 2008 environment. Upon course completion, students will be able to integrate key Citrix virtualization technologies, including XenServer, XenApp, Provisioning Services, and XenDesktop, to create an end-to-end virtualization solution. This course provides the foundation to manage, configure and monitor advanced features and components of Citrix NetScaler 10. Interactive discussion and hands-on labs guide learners through advanced administration tasks such as troubleshooting, configuring application security with Citrix Application Firewall, tuning the NetScaler for high-traffic loads, configuring AAA for system management, and configuring advanced policies using service callouts.

NetScaler 10.5 Advanced Implementation (CNS-301) 5 days

This course provides the foundation to manage, configure and monitor advanced features and components of Citrix NetScaler 10.5. Interactive discussion and hands-on labs guide learners through advanced administration tasks such as troubleshooting, configuring application security with Citrix Application Firewall, tuning the NetScaler for high-traffic loads, configuring AAA for system management, and configuring advanced policies using service callouts. Advanced monitoring and management tasks such as configuring and implementing NetScaler Insight Center, Command Center, and NetScaler Web Logging are also covered. Prior NetScaler knowledge is strongly recommended. In order to successfully complete this course, learners will have access to hands-on exercises within a virtual lab environment. Designed for students with previous XenApp and XenDesktop experience, who are interested in learning about leading practices and new functionality in the 7.7 and 7.8 releases. Learn about architectural changes, management enhancements, and how to get the most out of XenApp and XenDesktop 7.7 and 7.8 through real world scenarios. Students will have access to hands-on exercises within a virtual lab environment to configure and test features including AppDisks with AppDNA and Zones. At the end of this course students will be prepared to upgrade their environments and deliver new functionality to end users.

XenApp and XenDesktop Advanced Concepts – Troubleshooting (CXD-302) 2 days

In this course students learn how to troubleshoot complex end user and infrastructure issues through the use of support tools, Insight Services, and the PowerShell SDK. The course follows a troubleshooting methodology using real world support issues as example scenarios to demonstrate how to identify and remediate issues with the proper tools. At the end of the course students will have the skills they need to diagnose and remediate failures with a faster time to resolution and to identify the root cause to prevent future occurrences.
